Your privacy

Damascus Road Indy respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain language on purpose — if anything here is unclear, please ask.

Who we are

Damascus Road Indy operates this website. You can reach us at 9039 W Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46231, by phone at (317) 450-0474, or by email at damascusroad@damascusroadindy.com.

Information you give us

When you submit a form, email, or call us, we collect what you choose to provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you write in your message. We use it to answer you and to follow up on what you asked about. We do not sell it.

Information collected automatically

If you accept cookies, our analytics tools record standard technical information about your visit: pages viewed, approximate location (city level, derived from your IP address), the site or search that referred you, your device and browser type, and how long you stayed. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

If you decline, these tools are not loaded at all — no analytics cookies are set and no visit data is sent.

Cookies and analytics

We use two categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. These are always active and cannot be switched off.
• Analytics. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which help us understand which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck. These load only if you accept.

We do not sell or share your personal information for targeted advertising.

Your choices

• Choose Accept or Decline when the cookie banner appears. Declining leaves the site fully functional.
• Change your mind at any time — reopen your cookie choices.
• Clear cookies and site data in your browser settings to reset the choice.
• Install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to opt out of Google Analytics across all sites.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site and respond to you — our website host, our email provider, and the analytics tools named above — and only as needed to do that work. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. To make a request, call us at (317) 450-0474 or email damascusroad@damascusroadindy.com. We may need to verify your identity before we can act.

How long we keep it

Form submissions and correspondence are kept as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our records. Analytics data is retained on the analytics providers' standard schedules and is aggregated rather than tied to you personally.

Security

This site is served over encrypted HTTPS, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our site links to other organizations, including maps and social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The revision date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.
